Holy poop! 666 Ben? You're a nut job old boy!

Anyway, back to the body/photoshop. Remove bonnet, fix hinges back in correct place, clean bonnet (bit-o-t-cut) and then bolt is back on. Give windscreen a quick once over.

Hey presto. Not long now...

Right. New shoes. Jag style mesh grille. Carbon fibre bonnet and a new badge for front and it's fine.

It's perfectly okay if you ask me. Maybe a paint job but that'll be tonight!

hi colin hows this with you?
I was sure that I did have the article about 666 but am struggling to find it. I would appreciate a copy if you have access to one.
The car was called a 260Z and a 240Z when it ran in Holland by different magazines so I have got used to it being wrongly named.
The important thing to me is that I know it is the same car.
cheers ben

I am sat looking at it at the moment Ben. It's a copy I picked up off Fleabay earlier this year as on only had a photo copy of it previously. This is also the reason I was able to find it:)

I will try and scan it in for you.

For reference it is Sports Car monthly dated August 1986

I'm still taking photos (the Sunbeam in the heading for sprints in the 08 MSA blur book is one of mine), and still involved in motor sport Didn't do a lot this year as had a couple of stays in hospital-hopefully all sorted now though

Just found another possible candidate....

Hot Car Jan 82
240Z with Janspeed group 5 kit in blue. Reg NPF 900L

Does mystery car have front of bonnet extended in metal rather than glass fibre as supplied with the kit? What does fuel filler look like?

will try and scan and post pic later.

They have to be as Ben never knows when he needs a replacement bit:p:flyingpig:
Holy smokes, I remember that article in the magazine. Youch! Testament to the quality of the build / set up of the car that no one was hurt (other than the car). Actually, with a few extra bits of flair, this would make an awesome road car kit too (and I mean only very minor tweaks as the shape is gorgeous).
