My son picked up a project, 1979 Fairlady 280z (S130, 280zx) RHD car from Japan. There is rust around the cowel area, see pics (what do you guys call that area) between the vents and the lower windsheild (windscreen?) from the drivers side wiper opening over past the passengers wiper opening. Also have rust through behind the power brake booster.
Might there be a chance some one can cut that whole cowel area out of a old 280zx? or even just the small areas in the pics. Need to also look into shipping cost and see if its worth it.
I did cut these areas out of a wrecked 82 289zx but its all LHD, I might be able to make that all work if I need to but thought some parts from your side of "the pond" would be easier.
