That does look like an easy project. Apart from the steering wheell on the wrong side.
Surprised to see flat top carbs on a 73 car - is that original?

Where are you keeping them all John? show us your Aladdin's cave!

Seeing as the majority of S30s produced had the wheel on the left side......'wrong' is subjective.:p

Flat-tops normal for a late '73 USA market 240Z. Which is why they're the least desirable over there and quite often, the least expensive to buy - power dropped off with the emissions kit too !

It does look like an easy one but I'm in 2 minds as to which way to go. Its nice that the car has never been painted but could I drive around with it looking like that? probably not, so the outside needs doing. With no rust or damage to fix this should be relatively cheap compaired with the usual UK RHD restos. Suspension and brakes will need looking at, as they all will. And the interior will neen a spuce up :) .

Or do I just MOT, register, and make it a drivable project car then sell as is?

Yeah, the subject has come up!

Although the general opinion of most people that know me is, I wont want to part with any. Sue is of that opinion too, and she's still talking to me.

I was considering selling on your turf Sean. Steering wheels on the correct side then. Do you have any contacts you could send me who may be interested?

The first 2 zeds arrived in Felixstowe last Friday but a holiday in Newquay means they are still sitting there. I will be picking them up on Monday and then deside what to do with them. The first stage will be going through all the mechanicals and getting them through an mot. Then uk registration so I can drive them around a bit to see what I've got.

The 3rd one leaves LA on 22nd and the 4th on 30th of this month so should be here in a month or so. The 5th one has made its way yo New York and will probably ship in a few weeks.

Still not sure which cars I'm going to sell and which ill keep but I'll post some pics soon.

Just a bit of info for those thinking of importing. Do not assume you will get away with historic duty and be prepaid to pay the full 32% on the TOTAL cost of the car and getting it here. The car must be totally standard, as it left the factory.
