Has anyone found a fusible link fitted to the output lead on their alternator?

One is shown on diagrams (and is wise) however I've not seen one.

I’ve not seen one. I was looking for it a couple of weeks ago and didn’t find it.
I’m wondering if they’re US market only. Any one know?

The 240Z fusible link is from the power lead of the starter motor.

Yes Mike we all have one of those but there is another shown on wiring diagrams from the alternator.

Tbh the wiring diagrams of that area are confusing because it shows the wire as Black (B) and then White/Red.

The Black wire (heavy duty) is of course the Ground from the Earth terminal.

Anyway I'm fitting a fusible link now to my blue car whilst I am tidying and upgrading the wiring. I have already upgraded the alternator so the current can be 60A.
