It's not a Zed colour, but is an old Nissan colour, and its blue which you already have, but 564 Mount Fuji Blue looks good.

I shouldn't joke Vivienne probably would love a pink Nissan Micra. Does it have to be a standard Nissan colour?

Cant do blue again, although I like it, it needs to be different.

spent the day at Terry's and it was quite productive. Finished stripping to the bare shell with not a single thing left on it. I was going to scrap off the under seal from the floor pans back but as its all in such good original condition I'm going to leave as is. I will soak the whole area with a cavity wax type product once the rest of the underside is painted/stonechiped. Cut out the main rust repair and replaced with new metal so it looks as original. Welded up a dozen or so small holes in the inner wings/chassis rails that I won't be using. Fabricated and attached a couple of brackets that go on the air tubes for the wings to sit on.

All ready now for the shotblasters on Wednesday. They will epoxy prime it as well so it should be back Wednesday night looking a whole lot better and ready to finish the underside.

Great link.

052 burnt orange is my current favourite.

All ready for the big day. Just going to pick the car up from Terrys.

Picked the car up just after lunch and now back at Terry's, on the re-engineered rottisery. Blasting went well al I now have a totally rust free shell, just a few more holes than I hoped for. Nothing too serious but a few very solid but not pretty repairs. Floors original and very sound. Sills and dog legs great. In facts it's mostly in great shape. I started what I thought was the biggest job of replacing the rear inner arch which turned out to be pretty simple. The plan is to get all the welding done on Saturday as there's not much. Ill post a few pics latter.
