I have been looking to replace my stock exhaust and manifold and i have noticed most exhaust headers for sale do not have an exhaust gas recirculation valve branching off. I know in america its only required in 2 out of 51 states, namely california, but is this an MOT requirement here? Seems like it would be easier just to seal up the EGR port on the intake manifold with a simple plate and use a normal 6-1 exhaust header? Does anyone have any experience with the legality of removing the EGR?
