Looking forward to seeing it go down the strip or at least at a few events.

Refurbished some Watanabe split rims ,16x8 and 16x7 all torqued up with valves fitted ready to get the tyres fitted .
    6.3 KGS for 16x7
    6.8 KGS for 16x8
Should be interesting to see how they compare to the Rota grids with similar tyres.[IMG][IMG]

It's nice to see something a little different. I've not see these in split rims.

Its not easy to find with this pcd and in a 16 rim so I got another set from Japan as spares just in case.

Yes it looks really good Mike. My first reaction was that I thought racing numbers on a road car were illegal. I know from rallying days and following motorsport that competitors cover them up when driving on the road. However I see Minis with numbers on.

Anyway I just did a Google and it appears that it's not illegal but frowned upon by the MSA for people actually competing. They don't like the image of race cars on the public roads so they ask that they are covered-up or crossed-out with tape. I remember Pete Greggory (240Z competitor) used to have a magnetic white rectangle that he put over the numbers when going home.

Great to see someone having the testicles to do something different, and bonus point for the quality on the work.
