    Three faults - 3. Mileometer/odometer

I am in the process of selling my Zed but three faults are making this difficult. The third of these is with the MILEOMETER/ODOMETER. They were both working OK when I bought the car three years ago but about 18 months ago they both stopped working for no apparent reason. I had a look at them...

Three faults - 2. Air conditioning

I am in the process of selling my Zed but three faults are making this difficult. The second of these is with the AIR CONDITIONING. The air conditioning had never worked since I bought the Zed, so about 18 months ago I got Kwik-Fit to re-gas the system. All seemed OK, their equipment showed...

Three faults - 1. Water temperature guage

I am in the process of selling my Zed but three faults are making this difficult. The first of these is with the WATER TEMPERATURE GUAGE. A year or so ago I removed the clock cluster to fit some different clock faces and also to examine the fuel gauge which was not working. I removed the...

    Billing letter!

I received a letter from this club this morning, sent by first class post, telling me that Billing had been cancelled! Doesn't the whole world know this already? Why go to the unnecessary expense of sending out this letter when every man and his dog knows that Billing is cancelled? I assume...

My Last Day :( Thanks Everyone

Well, this is my last day as a subscribed member of the ZClub! I joined this club when I bought my first Z32 last year and a few weeks later I discovered the 300zx.co.uk site and joined them as well. I have found that club is closer to my needs as it deals more specifically with my Zed...

Silverstone Poll - Maximum Parade Speed?

You may have seen a discussion on the 300ZX.co.uk site (Silverstone thread) about the PARADE speed. A number of members, including myself, have expressed concerns that the maximum planned speed of 100mph is unsafe for such a large number of cars (maybe 170+), many of which will have...

    My New 'baby'

Just had to show off my new 'baby', a Jap import that's just 'off the boat' not even registered yet, which I paid a deposit on yesterday. It's a 1995 Series III (or IV?) Z32 Silver 2+2 Non-Turbo Manual TargaTop High Spoiler. Although the mileage is only 72k km. (45k miles) it's being given a...

Valet key - 'Full' key replacement.

I only have the red 'valet' key for my Z32 and it has a 4 digit code on it. Is it possible to obtain a 'full' key that will also open/lock the glove compartment? Dave

    Self import from Japan?

Has anyone actually imported a Z from Japan themselves? What does it involve? Are there Japanese sites (English speaking) that have Z's for sale? I'm looking for a good Series III at a reasonable price and want to weigh up all the options. Any other suggestions? Dave

    Ah Knooooow what ah like

No, not chantilly lace, but the following:- ESSENTIAL - Z32 - Series III - 2+2 - N/A - Manual - Targa Top DESIRABLE - Jap import - Silver - Cloth interior - Raised rear spoiler (I realise this was standard on the Seris III but some have had them removed) - Vented front wings - Engine bay...

How do you place a 'wanted' ad??

I typed in a 'car wanted' ad in the classified section 10/15 minutes ago but I can't find it anywhere. Have I done something wrong? Dave :conf2:

Differences Between Early And Late Z32

I have decided to look for a later version of the Z32 than my present 1990 model. I know I've only had it 5 minutes but I have been intoxicated by the many Z32's I've seen at JAE, club sites, AutoTrader, eBay and the web generally and have decided to get a version that has some of the add-on...

    SWB or 2+2?

I've presently got a Z32 2+2 which is N/A manual. Although I like it very much, I am being wooed by the body mods that are around, particularly the vented front wings and raised rear spoiler. The cost and time involved in putting these on my Z has made me think it would probably be better to buy...

    Wroughton Classic And Vintage Show

Just reminding you folks that the Wroughton Classic and Vintage Show is on this coming Sunday (6th August). From the lack of post it doesn't seem that many (any?) clubbers will be going except me! Seems a shame as this is a large and well attended show. If you want to see more details have a...

    Engine Number?

Hi - Can anyone tell me where I can find the engine number on my 1990 Jap Z32 2+2 NA Manual? I am interested to know if it is above the '777599' threshhold which, I understand, is when Nissan cured the problem of valves unscrewing!!:conf2: Dave

    Wider Rear Wheels

One of the things I keep my eyes open for, both here and on eBay, are wheels&tyres for my Z - extras are always useful if you can get a bargain. As mine is a NA version it has the same size tyres/wheels all round BUT will the TT versions also fit mine or will the wider rears cause problems? Dave

    Slow Filler?

As a new owner of a Z32 I am finding it painfully slow to fill with jungle juice (I use Sainsbury's Super Unleaded, 97 octane). Sometimes the supply pump times out before the tank is full. Is this a common 'feature' of the Z32? Dave

    Z32 Blinds & Bags

Hi Y'all - Just came across an item on eBay that someone here must be interested in. There is a set of Z32 Targa 'Blinds & Bags' on ref: 190002699271 that have only one bid at the moment for £30. The auction ends 20:49 tomorrow (Sunday) and I would certainly be going for them myself but I was...

    Engine Hesitation - Z32

Hi - Another problem with my newly acquired Z32 (manual NA) is that it does not seem happy when I try to drive off. It almost dies (sometimes stalling altogether) and I have to quickly dip the clutch and increase the revs in order to pull away. I have read a very good and thorough article on...
