Can anyone shed some light on what is needed to create the correct curve for the mechanical advance in my distributor. I have slight understanding on the way this works with the weights. Is there an exact weight they need to be and specific springs that need to be fitted? Appreciate any help.

I have oil leaking from the rear of my gearbox (where the prop shaft enters the box) on the 240z, I replaced the seal but still have the same issue. I noticed today that the propshaft has a lot of putting where it would seal with the gearbox. Would this be my issue? What would have caused this?
