    Choke setup

Has anybody successfully set up an in cabin choke system for triple Dellorto's? I find my car extremely difficult to start is cold weather but is much better if I put carbs on choke. Currently I'm having to do this from the engine bay so wondering if anybody has engineered a better solution?

    Registering a replacement engine

Hello All, When I bought my 260z 2+2 it came with a loose engine that was not the original one, but anyway an L26 so I was happy with that, although it's always niggled me a bit that the V5 isn't updated. It would seem that I would need some kind of inspection report to satisfy the DVLA when...

    260z 2+2 Seat belts

Hello all, I wonder if there might be some 2+2 owners that can send me some pics of the front seat belts please. I have some originals, which appear to have 3 anchor points but when offering them up for fitment they appear to become twisted, so I came to the conclusion that I'm doing something...

    Feed for Heater Fan

Hello All, 1977 RHD 260z 2+2 I'm having a spot of bother with my heater fan not working. I've figured out that I'm not getting a 12 Volt feed to it and have traced the wire (green) back to the white C-7 plug, under the steering column. From the other side of the plug, the wire disappears...

    Ideal Advance Curve

Hello All, So my engine is running much better and quieter now and for the first time in a few year has propelled the car for a very short journey around the square in front of my house. Gear stick length

Hello All, Is a five speed gear stick different to a four speed? I'm putting in a 5 speed and have used the gear stick from a four speed but I can't fully engage gears. When I took a closer look it appears that the pivot point of the gear stick needs to be lower down of the holes on the...

    No Spark!

Hi All, I've modified my L26 by fitting a 280z distributor and wired it as suggested in the picture below, but I'm not getting a spark at the plug, so my questions are: 1.) Is it wired incorrectly? 2.) which wire needs to be installed to give the tacho it's signal?

    Oil Pressure

Hello All, On a newly built engine, should I expect to be able to get oil delivery to the cam on cranking. I filled up the pump and filter and then began cranking with the valve cover removed to ensure good flow before starting up for the first time, but unfortunately I'm not getting anything...

    260z rear brake issue

Hello All, With my ongoing restoration of a 260z 2+2 I turned my attention to bleeding the brakes yesterday. Everything is new with the exception of the warning switch and proportional valve. Front brakes bled up nicely, but I wasn't getting anything at the rears. I followed some advice...
