All the cassettes I have seem to have found their way into the datsun’s centre console storage bin! They are all mix tapes and it’s nice to listen to them every now and then although the damn auto stop keeps triggering on the cassette deck so all I hear is the tape mechanism swapping sides...

I bagged this interesting factory RHD stereo for the 280zx. I have seen the LHD spec stereo with the digital tuner display but never this one which is laid out differently. From an 83 280zx. This is the later style pump for the rack and pinion rack. Worked perfectly when taken out of service recently. £25 plus postage or pickup from Reading. Alternatively I can take my ZX for a drive and drop it off if somewhere close.

I thought this car would be only good for RHD conversion bits but even the dash is gone!? Poor car!

It’s a shame as the car is too far gone! Sad to think that the owner must love these cars and just couldn’t get to it for various reasons and so it has sat for a long time. Notice the “280zx” banner on the windscreen!

What colour are these please?

I had to sell my pre facelift 280zx recently and I was torn between selling that and selling my later 280zx which is in better condition. I prefer the earlier bumpers, rear lights and trim plus I prefer the seats that don’t have the line patterns on them. It’s still a 280zx and I like it! :D

Looks nice and love the red interior!! I see some unevenness along the sills and along the bottom of rear quarter. Maybe it’s just the photos as it’s not clear when zoomed in.
