but my shocks are new. I do agree with you that the Eibach are not that stiff and there should be no reason why the Koni D cannot provide the damping.

Like to know where I can get springs for my stock 240Z, with rates in the region of F120 and R150. I replaced my old spring with Eibach which I believe has F180 R200 and the car bounces like a basketball even on the hardest setting on my new Koni D. Thx

I just have new Koni D and Tokico spring installed in my 240z. I find the ride very bouncy, i.e. , it reacts to the bumps and keeps bouncing, instead of damping out straight away. From my limited knowledge, that could happen because the spring is too soft or the damper is not set firm...

Morbias, sorry for my dumb question, I didn't know what it meant by 3 bolt dashpots. Now I do. THe car has been modified by the previous owner and I have no record on what has been done and which part has been modified. Hence more careful to make sure I identify the parts correctly.
