240Z Rear Caliper Maxima model number

My car comes with what it seems like a rear disc brake conversion with maxima callipers . Both rear callipers are leaking so I have to find new ones. The left one says Tokico L-N3, but the right one is really hard to tell. It seems to read R-N4. but after searching on the web, I have seen...

Guys, thanks for your advise. Here's a recap on what happened. I had a set pf Tokico Spring form the previous owner and I ha don idea what model it is. The car felt bouncy after I fitted new Koni D ( classic Red), set at 1/2 turn from firmest position. Then I bout the Eibach Spring (lower by...

240Z Spring rate for street use

but my shocks are new. I do agree with you that the Eibach are not that stiff and there should be no reason why the Koni D cannot provide the damping.

Suspension Set up - Koni D and Tokico

if it is bouncing like a basketball, doesn't that means the spring is too strong ? I tried setting the shocks to the hardest setting, things improved, but still bouncy. But reading from the forum, many uses the Eibach kit and the spring rate ( heard they are F180 R200) should be within Koni...

240Z Spring rate for street use

Like to know where I can get springs for my stock 240Z, with rates in the region of F120 and R150. I replaced my old spring with Eibach which I believe has F180 R200 and the car bounces like a basketball even on the hardest setting on my new Koni D. Thx

Suspension Set up - Koni D and Tokico

I just have new Koni D and Tokico spring installed in my 240z. I find the ride very bouncy, i.e. , it reacts to the bumps and keeps bouncing, instead of damping out straight away. From my limited knowledge, that could happen because the spring is too soft or the damper is not set firm...

    Carb identification

Morbias, sorry for my dumb question, I didn't know what it meant by 3 bolt dashpots. Now I do. THe car has been modified by the previous owner and I have no record on what has been done and which part has been modified. Hence more careful to make sure I identify the parts correctly.

I have an Australian RHD 240z 73, with L28 conversion. It has stock dizzy and an upgraded hanshin coil. I like to upgrade to the Mallory unilite dizzy and I wonder what else I need to get. I drive the 240z as an everyday car so no track use. I read many threads and got some idea on the...

    195/60/14 on a 7" wheel

I finally gave up on search 205/60/14 as the only thing I can find is BF Goodrich T/A. I settled on 195/650/14 Dunlop DZ101. I first worried about having 195 on a 7" but it ends up not too bad. It doesn't have the muscular feel as it used to be with the 205, but handling is much better with a...
