Can't say I'll miss her lol she had some kind of personal vendetta against me I think. Replaced a lot of parts and now she seems to be fine but I've always had my heart on a 240 or a 260 so I'll be looking for one now. So if anyone comes across one, in any condition, let me know!

fusible links are good. Thought I'd try starting it and it started first turn of the key :/ running VERY rough though, not done compression test but plugs are also ok. Trying to work out how the water pump would effect the rough running of the car

Lol at skiddell, there don't seem to be any wires or similar out of place, I've taken the alternator out and will get that checked tomorrow. Just thinking out loud, seems as though the engine is seized. I had a head gasket go once and the engine would start and die straight in a similar way. But...

To be honest ben I did actually manage to change just the motor, but somehow everything got stuck in the process and so I thought it best to change everything. My motor was completely gone, so window wouldn't go up or down, if you can get another motor take off your door card and you should test...

Need to check if it's seized solid, all happened last night in the dark so all I could see was water gushing out the bottom as I was filling up

As above, was on the motorway and heard a really weird clicking sound from beneath the dash, then my battery volt reader started going schizo, then I got smoke. Stopped on hard shoulder, managed to see the water pump break its waters. I've ordered a pump but wanted to check what bearing this...

ye ta mike, I had to undo the whole lot and start again, thought I could get away with just changing the electric motor but it's bloody tight in there

What a pain in the ass. I managed to change it but only 1 side of the glass moves up :? I changed only the motor and not the whole mechanism, should this make a difference?

Don't know if you've got windscreen from old zx but may be interested depending on price
