My tacho plays up also!, not wanting to hijack your thread, but I believe there are two types, negative and positive trigger, correct?, does that refer to the connections on the coil?
Well I try not to let it get so dirty that it needs 'washing'!
I use a damp sponge followed by Greased Lightning polish, but it's the spray from the wheels that worries me.
Hi Mark, hope you and Jill are well, it's been a long time!
Yep the heavens opened up and car got soaked, i'm still sulking a little!, but a nice afternoon, thanks Riddler!. Perhaps do another one when weather improves and go for drive afterwards!
the aftermarket one's don't seem to bend to the shape of the windscreen properly. for that price you could get original one's from US. there's always several on ebay USA or check out Zcardepot own site where their usually cheaper still.
I always get thumbs of approval from bikers. Last year on the motorway I was surrounded by a group on trikes and choppers who all slowed down to take a look. They seem to have respect for the Jap cars.
I did take it for a quick spin today as it's a beautiful day but i'll resist it from now on 'till it's cleared, but it's not easy when it rains most of the summer!

Anyone else driving this time...

Yet Martin and I were total...
I'm trying to source a replacement indicator flasher unit but I want the old thermal type that 'clicks'. Can anyone help with the correct spec as stamped on the unit and/or a part number? Should have kept the old one for reference but i've binned it. It's for a ' 74 260Z.
Why should he? He hasn't asked for advice regarding the body and he's stated time and again he's not worried about it as he knows someone who can fix it. Seeing as nobody knows him personally why can't you just take that at face value?
So he's bought a car which he was hoping was rust free and...
There's a small number of bigots on this forum.
Your fixing it your way (whether it's the 'right' way is irrelevant), it's your car.
And it's obvious they won't stop whinging until you do it their way.
What was that Bob Dylan song?
"Well i try my best to be just like I am, but everyone wants...
