I haven't spent masses of time wiggling the doors or anything to see if the hinges were loose but first inspections suggest they are secured ok. Can anyone tell me what the pins look like? Are we simply talking about rods that join the 2 halves of the hinge?

Had a search and can't find any existing info on drooping/saggy doors? Basically I want to know if there's anything I can do to fix the drop that both driver and passenger doors have on my 2+2? A friend of mine suggested that the door pins could need replacing - I have no prior experience of...

was going to say - there's no way you would be able to change just the motor on it's own without removing the entire setup! Why were you changing? Did the window not operate at all? (my pass side window doesn't work and I suspect the motor....)

Been a while since I last updated this thread! I finally finished stripping the very rusty blue ZX this weekend and now have a shed full of bits - These are the bits I had just built up in the boot over the past few months... I don't think I actually mentioned it, but I bought another...

exactly the reason a drive a really ****** diesel 306 during the week! It doesn't excuse peoples actions or give them the right to bash my car but it certainly means I can do it back without caring!

fan belt seems like quite a major part in terms of needing regular replacement etc!
