Parts compatibility

I'm starting to assembly the parts I will need to convert to RHD ready for when I find a suitable 240z. What parts from a 260z 2+2 are interchangeable with a 240z? Mainly the parts I require for a RHD conversion:

Steering rack
Wipers and linkage
Dashboard
Interior (front half)

Just seen a scrap one on eBay that may be worth a punt.

Be careful thinking a 260Z 2+2 will supply parts for a 240Z.

The most obvious thing in your listing that won't 'cross-over' is the Dashboard.

Wiper motor and wiring is not 100% compatible. Maybe just connections, maybe motor depending on year (2 or 3 speed).

But there are more issues than those.

Best forget the 2602+2 unless you decide to buy a 260 LHD

I'll scrap that idea then. Thanks Rob. I thought that it would be too easy. Just a shame RHD parts are few and far between. It would seem it would be a good business for somebody to start reproducing s30 parts in the UK.

If you buy a 260z or 280z a lot more parts will be interchangeable with a 260z 2+2 from about the front seats forward
