    Battery Drained!

    I think your right guys.. Car started last night when i re-connected the battery. Definitely a drain somewhere in the system will have to get the alternator and starter checked out. A trip to the local garage is in order i think!! :( Paul

    240z hesitation when under acceleration

    Had the same problem with my 260z. Fuel filter sorted the problem straight away. Disconnect the current filter and if its looking pretty nasty (which mine was) just put in a new one. My 260 is reving up freely now.

    Battery Drained!

    The battery has been charging overnight. I will connect it later on today. Hopefully it'll read near 12volts from the interior battery meter. Will let ye know how it goes. Thanks for the advice guys Paul

    Rob, Can has been out at weekends nothing major two or three hours of running. Installed a new clock when i bought the car its ticking away!!! Maybe previous owner had it dismantled for a reason! No interior lights left on anyways. Going to stick it on a charger for a while see what happens...

    Just wondering have you guys any thoughts on why my battery is dead again after only being replaced a month ago. Tried to start the car yesterday and the volt meter reading only 8. Can won't turn over for me. Its a '77 260z. Any help would be appreciated?

    Engine losing Power at 4000 rpm

    Changed the Fuel Filter last night. It was black with dirt. Brought the car out for a good run. Pulled hard through every gear.. up past 4krpm without any hesitation!! Hopefully that problem won't occur again. Thanks for the advice guys :thumbs: Cheers Paul

    Thanks Rob, Will take a look and see.. By Dashpots do you mean inside the carb pot? Not very familar yet with carbs yet sorry.. Goin by pictures i've found on the internet SU carburetors On this link its referring to item 12.
