Finally got rid of this horrible, bent gross steering wheel. And fitted a nice Nardi wheel. Have a Chinese Nardi horn button and better bolts to fit before Japfest.

And it’s done again! Looks epic, need to get used to the power again so I can drive it without shanking when I get out! Hopefully see a few of you at Japfest?

I have the full system from the downpipe. Headers wouldn’t work with the 1JZ. I can tell you that it sounds incredible. I wanted it to be as quiet as possible. I’m not a fan of raspy exhausts. Bear in mind I have 2 turbos in the way of the exhaust gasses which naturally brings the volume down.

I have a Z Story exhaust on my 1JZ swapped 260z. Sounds incredible, not too loud and none of that raspiness you seem to have with yours. Exhaust is the wrong side in the 1JZ so we made a custom downpipe to fit.

Starting to get there now. Turbos on, everything painted, cam covers back on. Will have oil in it again soon!! Japfest in a few weeks so need to get a move on. To be fair, the weather has really slowed progress as not been able to get the painting done.

Exactly that. They were already hybrid turbos so wasnt the exhaust turbine exploding. Turned out to be the bearings, eventually enough play in them for the turbines to touch the housings which then destroyed them. Have a newer set of hybrids to go on over winter along with coilovers and a few...
