09.03.04 goes down as a very sad day. My Z has gone. Had to sell her due to job change............gutted.........really really gutted! Will continue my membership even though Z-less and maybe one day I will once again drive a proper car:(

Just to add my few pennies worth I have owned an imported z32 SWB NA (manual) for a similar time to Skyline Dave. I use mine daily clocking up 40-50 miles a day and have had very little trouble apart from a wheel bearing and a cracked tyre rim. I am in no way an expert in this type of car but...

I use my Z32 everyday, approx 40 miles. Has been trouble free up till this week. Strange whiring sound coming from the back, hope its just a wheel bearing? Apart from that its been as good as gold. (touch wood)

Well thanks for the advice, Mince you dont appear to have had much luck, hope your luck changes; and as for silicone hoses and Kelvin fibre I would not no what to do with them. The only thing I can do to a car is put the petrol in! I do seem to be doing that a lot lately.

Hi thanks for the reply, I am a first time owner maybe having a mid life crisis and liked the idea of being able to talk through any problems I may run into. I never set out to buy a Z but saw one for sale and had to buy it. Not shore its in good enough nick to show.
