1973 240z. I will go start her up and take her out today just to make the point. About time though as the weather + work is keeping my 240z (g-nose V8 hybrid)garaged more than on the road.

Lpg was my intention for the beast but when I looked into it it would cost more than the thing cost to buy.Take over 3 years to return the investment and not be CC exempt. Shame really I would have liked to convert it but the figures just don't work out.

Fork Lift? Well its not a diesel it is definatly petrol and it does drink it too.

I guess you would only use the engine as the rest is to mate to 4 x 4. Its a straight six so I thought it might be a variation of the original engine. Haven't really had much time with the thing yet but if I find out more I will post it.

Hey I just bought a nissan patrol 4.2 straight six as a work horse. It crossed my mind though that it may be related to our beloved 2.4/2.6/2.8 zd's. It only develops about 170bhp but I bet it would tune up a treat and it would surely be an easy-ish transplant. Anyone heard of it being done or...

Hi Guy's I was checking out the drive train on the z the other day and while I had the car rear wheels up on props and the engine running at idle. I noticed that one wheel was spinning! It had a reasonable resistance when I treid to stop it. Now out of gear I was under the fundimental idea that...

I think the car looks good it is just too pricey. At least for me, If it sells its good for all classic Z owners The U.S. indicators do look like they belong as aposed to an afterthought. Each to there own.. Personally I hope its as good as it looks and someone buys and enjoys it.

I just heard from a guy who knows abit of the cars history and he said he thinks its a Diff from 280ZX auto and was I think the 3.54. It dosn't wine either so that is probably fine. I will check all the bits you mentioned and I love the look of the arazona stuff and will consider it later...

I hear you and once the car is ready I will be bringing it out to hopefully claim a place.. I am away this early Sept too. I gather that R200 diffs are hard come by? Do you or anyone know of a diff specialist who could maybe sort out the ratio's too?:) I'm in South London

Thanks, I feel that could be the cause myself I will look into the prop in the mean time. Saw your 350 in your Gallary. looks cool! Keep thinking of getting one but might find it hard to have a good reason for another car...
