    hmm 99-now....still not as long as mine :( 97-now and I still need to assemble - problem with having a car like that and then moving OS for work, moving back to New Zealand then purchasing/building houses, having a family - but at least we still have them ;) I have 2 now one for each of my boys...

    Looks great Dave. So what size tyres are you running on all corners. I have 245/45/16 and 225/50/15 on my RS Watanabes that are 16x9.5 rears and 16x8.5 fronts. I thought the largest tyre you could get in 16 was the 255/50/16 so who makes a 265? And what is the profile :D I have room in my steel...

    Colour Code

    That might be the case in your part of the world but 12 months ago I had my zed painted and we got the paint from the supplier just by giving them the "Datsun 240z 1970 907 GP Green" as the description and I must say it is right on the money :) I am in NZ by the way. Cheers Mike

    bring back an oldish thread. This is not 100% ture. I have a general RHD export RS30 and it does not have the threaded holes. All the 240z I have owned or have seen did have these so the later 260z shell are different in this respect - well at least the one I have lol

    yes my L3.2 was more than that and my mates L2.9 is more than my old L3.2 (better head work on his 2.9) for me it is the look of a DOHC engine that is all. There is no real performance difference - there might be in MPG but the good old L6 is a good engine Nissan did a great job on the L-Gata...

    Engine was already build :) cost was less than my L30 bottom end build (which was N42 running 90mm bore, cast Tomie pistons from Japan, balanced blah blah sold after I sold my 240z race car. Head went with the car (it was a 3.2L) and bottom end to another local racer here in NZ) Time will tell...
