    Seat upholstery kits

Be careful with putting valuable items in your car when shipping from the USA, often the they get pinched along the way. Best to use shipping companies that specialise in bulky goods. I have heard these guys are good but haven't used them myself, there are quite a few doing this now...

    240z Alternator

Hi Kieron I have a standard external regulator as from the factory still on the car so I assume this one will work, it looks the same as the one on the car. Not fussed about going down the internal regulator route.

240Z Flywheel bolt under head length size

Finally got to the bottom of this which may be of help to someone, the difference between the auto UHL and manual UHL bolts is just 2mm and at a thread pitch of 1.25mm this equates to around not much! The UHL of a manual bolt is 27mm and an auto bolt is 25.5mm. I suspect this makes them...

240Z Flywheel bolt under head length size

Thanks look good but am trying to get Nissan ones ideally, I think I have found some on Z car depot in the USA. It looks like the correct length is only 2mm longer than the Auto ones ie 27mm versus 25mm.

240Z Flywheel bolt under head length size

I am converting my standard 240Z from Auto to Manual transmission and I note there is a difference in length of the manual flywheel bolts, they are supposedly longer than the ones fitted on an Auto from what people talk about. The Parts Catalogue shows 12315-U6000 for manual and 12315-A4000...

240Z L2.4 Timing chain front cover removal

Apologies no piccies but the cover came off quite easily, I always give the heads of the bolts a sharp tap with a drift and hammer this shock helps unstick the threads of the bolts particularly when removing steel bolts in alloy casings. There are two bolts at the front of the Cam cover, then...

240Z L2.4 Timing chain front cover removal

Thanks chaps, the sump is coming off anyway, the engine is in a stand and I intend to clean the sump etc whilst the engine is out. New seals and gaskets will be going in and points taken about the dizzy and oil pump thanks. Makes feel feel more confident now to pull the cover without cringing...

240Z L2.4 Timing chain front cover removal

I wonder if anyone knows if the timing chain front cover can be removed with the cylinder head still fitted on my standard L24 engine please? I have found a couple of sheared bolts that hold the cover on and would like to remove it to get the broken studs out without removing the head as the...

Scammer on ebay blue 73 240Z for £7000

These guys hope that people get excited about a 'bargain' and send a securing deposit of a few hundred quid and then the scammer disappears. Very easy to get caught as sometimes the prices quoted seem 'possible', in this case £7000 might be a price someone that wasn't sure of the value or wanted...

Scammer on ebay blue 73 240Z for £7000

Just spotted a blue 73 240Z on ebay on auction but has in the write up a £7000 price but it's a scam as the seller keeps changing, obviously hacked accounts, so no sending deposits to this criminal.

Inlet manifold coolant system 240Z SU's

Thanks for the replies gents, yes seems a system not worth having so I am going to blank it all off. The connecting pipe does look a bit ugly so that might come off too!
