    YOU GOT IT BUDDY!!!!! I REMEMBER NOW, I HAVE A HKS INDUCTION KIT AND THE FILTER WAS VERY OLD AND BREAKING UP, THUS STICKING TO THE MAF SENSOR AND CUTTING POWER. CHANGED THE FILTER AND PROBLEM SOLVED!! LEGRATH YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD!:bow: ALANZ

    IT SEEMS ODD THAT THE LIGHT WAS COMING ON AND I HAD POWER LOSS AT THE SAME TIME. WHAT DO THINK WAS CUTTING POWER TO MY ZED? I THOUGHT IT WAS THE SENSOR CUTTING POWER TO STOP DAMAGE TO THE CAR/EXHAUST SYSTEM.

    MY OVERHEAT CAT LIGHT WAS COMING ON AND CUTTING POWER TO THE ENGINE. REMOVED CATS AND WIRING, FITTED NEW PIPES AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS SINCE. HAD THEM DONE OVER 2 YEARS AGO. MAYBE THE LIGHT IS A SIGNAL FOR A MULTITUDE OF PROBLEMS.

    hi chris imho i would remove the cats and the sensor and fit decat pipes, a good exhaust or mech will do the job for you, then no need to worry about cats over heating!! alan

    HEY RUSS EVEN IN SAFE BOOST THE CAR WAS RUNNING VERY LEAN AS INDICATED ON CONSULT AND WITH THE PROBE IN EXHAUST. I TRIED SWAPPING THE CHIP IN THE ECU FROM UPGRADED TO STANDARD WITH NO DIFFERENCE, STILL LEAN. AM I RIGHT IN SAYING THE ECU CONTROLS HOW MUCH FUEL IS DELIVERED INTO THE ENGINE...

    HEY MR F. WHILE RUNNING AT 15 PSI IT WAS DETONATING DUE TO LACK OF FUEL. WITH THE BOOST CONTROLLER OFF, RUNNING AT JUST UNDER 7 PSI, WAS STILL RUNNING LEAN ON CONSULT TEST AND EMISSION SENSOR FROM EXHAUST. WOULD LARGER INJECTORS DELIVER MORE FUEL? CHEERS ALAN

    HEY RUSS GOT UP TO 300 BHP AND ABORTED DUE TO DETONATION. DE-CAT,CAT BACK EXHAUST,HYBRID TUBS, HKS INTAKE, PROFEC BOOST CONTROLLER. THE GUYS CHANGED THE CHIP IN MY ECU FOR A STANDARD ONE AND IT STILL RAN LEAN. CHEERS ALAN
