This sounds fantastic, very jealous that you've got access to those kinds of roads and the car in a state to do that! I love the road sign as well

I don't believe so however we could create one, alternatively these would be great submissions for the 2019 club calendar. Need to get a thread setup for that again really and be more organised this year.

next years calendar would be good.
i was born and raised in the highlands, the scenery still blows me away.

‘lost’ isnt far away from me, actually location for one of the best highland games events that hasn’t gone all touristy.

That's very cool, I know that feeling I've been up to the Highlands on driving holidays over the last couple of years. We stay in Ullapool and make days trips out from there. It's breath taking, particularly with the changing weather.

That's good to know, still amuses me. I must have been fairly close this year as we went to Ullapool via the Grampian Transport Museum which incidentally has a 260Z in it's collection at the moment. What a small world.

I'll try and get this calendar thread together again.

alford is 9 miles away, family members there. if you can.

not sure where you have been before bit i would suggest torridon and particularly book applecross inn, michelin guide gastropub, drive over bellach na ba (cattle pass) sea level to 2000ft in one go, scottish stelvio.

gairloch and/or plockton also particularly pretty.

midges are the bigger PITA in summer!

Well this world just gets smaller and smaller!

I've been before, I went over the top of Applecross two years ago and absolutely loved it, we go all over the Highlands. I've been up to Uig on Skye and Durness a few times amongst various other places. The A835 through Ullapool is one of my favorite roads, if not the best road I've driven. So much to choose from, just a shame the roads are deteriorating and loose stones that chip the car to pieces.

I've typically gone around April time as a compromise so it's normally ok midge and traffic wise.
