Very subtle but at the same time obvious hint

Built by Skiddell with some limited help from me.
Its no secret, so no need for subtlety
We dont name owners when an engine is in our posession but once its returned to its owner they are free to choose whether we get named or not.
Similarly the owner is free to discuss the spec etc.

This looks fantastic, really looking forward to seeing the progress.

It also looks like someone has enjoyed a shopping spree with Techno Toy Tuning as well :D

Thanks, I am looking forward to it coming all together now and cannot wait to run the engine!

An err yes, a bit of a spree - guilty as charged I am afraid!

TTT, Your favourite Woody! £££££ though!

Haha there's other options but I was really impressed with the quality of the parts I got and from what my dad said when he visited their shop out in California to collect them.

Yeah I bet, I'm sure it'll all be worth it when that engine fires up.

 I know the feeling, looks the business all installed though and will seriously ramp things up in the handling and braking department I'm sure.

What TTT bits have you got and how have you found them on the road?

Should be rolling this weekend, quite looking forward to seeing the wheels against the new paint! :D

T3 Rear Adjustable Lower Control Arms, T3 GTX2 Adjustable Front Lower Control Arms, Inner/Outer Tie rods and prothane steering rack bushes. All the bits pictured on my thread in the link below.

It's not yet fitted so can't say, it should be going on next month with coilovers, anti roll bars and a brake upgrade hopefully. Not sure feedback will be of much use then though as I'll have changed so much at once I won't be able to tell what's what.

I bet, be sure to put more pictures up

Looks Mega. I've had mine for years but didn't have a shell to bolt then to. Then they bought out the GTX2 stuff. Oh well - look a lot lighter than mine but its all overkill anyway!

Will be sure to post more pictures.

All looking very tasty

I like 110 but that blue the car used to be also looks very nice imo.

Well after a great day in the workshop last week today was a bit of a frustrating day. Only got just over 2 hrs in the workshop today due to other commitments the bodyshop had off site meaning I didn't get there until 4pm.. Managed to get the struts connected and steering arms on. Needs tightening down but on. Didn't get chance to do rear end (rear arms need spacers), handbrake etc so not quite properly rolling. Mounted the wheels anyway for a cheeky spy shot .

Not available next weekend so bit frustrating, but a week out of a total of 4 years in April isn't that bad.

Ryan, I've just looked at your Facebook site (I don't do Facebook but perhaps I'll start).

Wow, I knew the car was poor even before you bought it (I seem to remember I PM'd you) but boy oh boy what a rust bucket. These cars get painted and polished and because of their rarity and attractive lines are viewed through 'rose-tinted' specs. I know because I bought one too in 1996. I couldn't afford to do what you've done (even though you say you have a limited budget) so I did everything myself to keep it safe and enjoy (track) it.

I think there is hardly any panel on your car that you haven't taken/cut off - even the whole front from the bulkhead! Reassembly to the correct shape/tolerances must have been a huge problem.

Anyway congratulations on 'coming through it and out the other side'.

Mirrors - sorry I think I was wrong, I bid on them when you posted them on ebay but lost out (too tight).

Car is coming on great.

I'm interested to see how the wheels look with the red as although I've bought satin black ones for my red car, I may change to the bronze I bought for my old 260z.

Here's I couple of picture that show off the difference between shiny black and flat black against the red paintwork. These pictures may also help me in choosing between shiny or flat black for the bumpers.
