Wonder how much they adhere to the above?

TBH I don't think it'll make much difference. Classic cars are allowed to park across the site as far as I understand it. Ticket cost is only GBP £4.62 for pre 1990 cars.
I'll wait till Sunday morning and if it's dry I'll fire up the Z and head over.
I've seen Z's at this event before but don't know who owned them.

yeah, looks like it'll be a bright day, but close to freezing tonight and Saturday night, so the gritter lorries may be out & about. Anyway, no engine in my car :)

Hooked up with Tim. Didn't spot Woody but spotted Woody's motor KUJ. A nice selection of motors and a good blast out in the Z, sorted :driving:

Sorry Jake! In my sleep deprived state I didn't think to look on here again this morning, it would have been good to catch up but obviously not meant to be. I was very much keeping an eye on the weather to make a last minute call on my plans for the weekend otherwise I would have posted up here sooner.

I'm glad you at least saw the car even if I was floating around elsewhere. I saw Tim's car and recognised it albeit didn't see him either. It was bitterly cold but a fantastic morning out. I've never been to the site before but would love to go back on a warmer day.

Managed to do 285 miles in the car this weekend so can't complain too much :D

Happy Dayz :driving:

Where's your chin spoiler as well?
Yeah good point! Somewhere down the road
Must admit I didn't notice it(or lack of) on Sunday and we even took a good look at the car   Maybe it only had 3 wheels as well :D Tim?

Great photos :) The blue stang is often at my local meets. Nice motor.

Great to see you Jake and shame we missed you Woody. Z is looking good buddy.

Good turnout I thought, considering the freezing bloody cold. All these nutters in their open pre war racers hacking it down the A421 in what felt like -5.. haha.. That's enthusiasm!

Thanks for the heads up on the picture Woody.

The spoiler is in the garage chaps. No, not somewhere down the road fortunatley lol, but nearly sucked up into the front wheel arch!..

The front corner valance got caught by the tire when reversing out of the garage at the time when the tension rod snapped. Bent the bottom of the valance inwards. Not badly, but enough to need a trip to the body shop. Pretty darn lucky really, the grinding (only in reverse) alerted me to the problem, saved me hitting the dual carriage ways and roundabouts in MK, which I so enjoy in the Z, a few hundred yards from the house. The fact that I then realised I'd done a motorway journey with a snapped rod the night before gave a few shivers, but hey ho.

Jake, I've looked on the Heritage site and cannae find that paint shop chap we talked about, any ideas?

I went to this, was a really good show in the end! Luckily weather held out, even though it was bloody freezing.

Woody, I saw your car (which I photographed, and you've seen on Instagram)

I saw the Brown Z too, but that's it. Hopefully will bring mine to the next one! :)

Well at least you know I was there :D and no worries, I think if you go looking theres another somewhere from the same photographer.

Sounds like a lucky save! at least you've still got it. Hopefully it'll all be sorted by show season. I also now know why you enjoy MK's dual carriage way and roundabout system, alot of fun to be had when mine stops rolling around like a boat soon

Any photos gents?

Don't judge as its only a few snaps from my phone on the day and not my finest work but here you go. There was loads you could have been caught up looking at, I'm afraid I don't have the time to embed all of the images into the thread.

Would be really good to see the car in the flesh, if your not already down to then get your name down for the Donington Historic and/or Japfest. It would be great to see the car and put a face to the name
