Propshaft uprade is easy. Get one made using the landrover UJs. Never had one break since I went this route.

Can I ask how much it was? I will need a driveshaft made/adapted for my 1JZ's gearbox at some point and not sure the best place to take it

It was £150 for that whole new end, cleaned, balanced. Not sure it’s the cheapest but looks the part and was only 10 mins walk from work and turned it around in a day.
This was Northwest propshafts in Salford. I’ve also used bailey morris in cambs and would recommend them too.
You’re futher south aren’t you?

Good to get an idea of costs as I will need mine to be strong.
I’m all the way south, about 20 mins from the coast in West Sussex

Russell - go with the same 1310 joint on the rear that Jon has used and keep the Toyota front end. I've never touched the Toyota joint.
