Wow, I feel so sorry for this chap having to do so much metal work on panels that should go in the trash IMO. On to watch part 3 and 4 to see if he gives in.

I understand now that he is showing how to save panels that would otherwise be trashed.

Wonder what his plans are for that L28????

A good watch.

Don't know how this has escaped my YouTube Z searches. Great series judging by the first 5 mins. Thanks for sharing.

Watched the first three episodes so far and I don't really understand the intention of the program.

Three episodes working with panels that are easily sourced on ebay or from Club members. I could understand it more if these were the panels that are not available e.g. rear quarter.

He isn't happy with them himself either. That headlight shell is never going to be any good and it's got to be right to line-up with the bonnet etc. Hold-on though the bonnet is rubbish too so where does he get the 'line' from. There is no way this would be cost effective.

It's always interesting though.

What's the purpose of anything on YouTube?

To me its a Guy just trying to demonstrate through the blogs he puts up what's possible with a little time and effort. He's not a pro with all the gadgets, he's the average person working in his garage as most of us are.

That's my take on it anyway.

Yeh, ok but I feel that even your average 'Joe' is better off buying better panels. That scuttle panel is awful!

Anyway he's brave finding things out whilst filming and it is an addictive blog (like Project Binky).
