Hope it moves to a new home closer to middle of country so we have a chance of seeing her at some shows

Dave J was instrument is the last 3x.

What I've understood so far is that Mark Rainer and Dave Jarman made this car....and I wrong ?

Sean you always say look at the sam register and it shows LRD 621L used to belong to Pete Agnew and is SS00034 in the listing

I believe this could be when it was being restored

Tiny nit-pick - it IS saying it IS the property of Pete.

So we know the site needs updating and certain cars are absent...notably Rob's new one.

Register is way out of date, and I think always will be.

it will never be correct as it is mostly based on Spikes memory and how can any one remember every job they did so many years ago and Spikes paperwork was not the best
to say the least

And his memory can only be described at best as 'selective'

I think your picture is at Silverstone Steve, so this could even be before Dave P's time, although he'll know better than me...

I am not interested in the car, well I am but I would like to stay married, roughly were in Scotland is it located?

I would just like to see it, but appreciate its a for sale car. So respect sellers need to sell

I bought this car in 1980 as a Samuri and Spike rebuilt it as a Super Samuri, engine and body updates including the distinctive rear spoiler. This was done in 1981 at Silverstone. A mate of mine sold it for me in 1983 after I had moved to Australia. This is what it looked like then5 crop.jpg

This shows the value of Facebook as Peters son posted on the clubs facebook page asking if anyone knew where the car was now and after a brief discussion Peter posted info here

the time circa is 1980/81 as i have a photo of that sat next to my sam and it was siverstone
I had the car originally built at Silverstone in 81 but I don't think this photo is from that time, I had Wolfrace Wheels for it at the time, I suspect this is before Dave bought it and restored it.
