Good evening all,
I've rather stupidly volunteered myself to try and motivate the troops (you lot, I know I have a big task ahead of me ) to inspire you all to get out there with your cars and camera's and just get snapping.
Charles Leekam has I understand been brave enough to undertake this task for some time now and has been one of the key members in arranging for the annual club calendar each year. In an attempt to show some club spirit and solidarity I have indicated that I clearly have way too much free time (foolish I know) and would like to step up and help out by doing my bit by helping the team behind the club that make all of this happen.
Now what I am hoping what we can achieve over the next few months is to build a collection of high quality (the higher the resolution the better, camera's preferable) images of your Z's from your travels, adventures, shows, race meets and holidays etc. My plan is for you all to submit as many photos as possible of your pride and joy so that we have a large pool to choose from for next years calendar. If you can share them on this thread to motivate others to get out there and do the same that would be fantastic.
I would love to see an eclectic mix of all generations if possible, it doesn't have to be clean and shiny, I love seeing these wonderful machines covered in dirt and being used particularly from those of you lucky enough to race or track your Z's. Try and be as creative and artistic as possible by including some interesting back drops or well known land marks, action shots always go down well. Use your imagination!
If you could also email me at mark4woodrow@gmail.com with a copy/copies of these photos (lets keep it decent ) using the subject heading Zclub Calendar then I will also begin to compile a store of images across the year. The hope is the the clubs calendar will include club members cars, however that means we need you!
Here's a couple of images that I've previously shared from one of my recent journeys out to give you a few ideas. As if all of that wasn't enough motivation there's a good chance your pride and joy could feature in next years calendar for the rest of the club to enjoy! Get out there and go for a drive, the clock's already ticking
