I found this series of 9 x 20min videos on YouTube showing a very entertaining build of a 2L Turbo, 4WD Mini. The engineering on this project is impressive and the fabrication amazing.

If you watch the first episode, I'm sure you'll want to watch the rest.

Agreed.

I am finding this collection of videos REALLY interesting.

They are Very Clever guys. The work is ridiculously complicated and unnecessary but captivating.

Terry, John, Wyn etc you will get a lot out of this I think.

Episode 11 of the 4WD Mini build went live this evening. Lots of complicated engineering and great fabrication as usual. Highly recommend everyone has a look at the series so far.

I'll get me coat...

Splendid... just watched episode 12, epic fabrication skills as usual. By the way the car will be on show at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on stand 77 regardless of whether it is finished or not. Anyone who has seen these videos will want to pay a visit.

Episode 14 of the 4wd Mini build now on YouTube https://youtu.be/mB4NXA_vNWs. In this episode the guys are extending some off the shelf arches to make a pattern. Not as amazing as earlier episodes, but I guess all the main fabrication work is now complete. If you haven't seen this series before, start at episode 1, you won't be disappointed.

I really need to make the time to watch this all the way through. This and Colin Furze stuff is my kind of entertainment!

I do enjoy this project but I'm beginning to wonder if it's ever going to end.

Wouldn't it be good to have a workshop like that and a mate to help. Any work I do gets done on my drive.

Off on paternity leave so spent the time watching all of the episodes through. Absolutely awesome fabrication and attention to detail etc. I even watched the one where they tigged a broken mug back together!

Yep, it is getting there, but it seems very slow. They are doing this their spare time and filming it must slow things up a bit too. Episode 15 was excellent after the relative disappointment of episode 14. Probably need to wait 3 months for the next episode...
